Robert Bumbaco, LCSW earned his master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Niagara University. He has been working in the field of addiction since 2007 and is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
In his career, Robert has had great success treating individuals who are dealing with substance abuse and mental illness. He has additional experience in men’s recovery related issues. His clients have learned to develop a plan that allows them to pursue a balanced and productive lifestyle. His approach has always been to help his clients develop the insights, skills, and confidence to achieve their goals. In this process, Robert encourages his clients to be active participants in the therapeutic process. Robert utilizes multiple therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused brief therapy.
Robert continues to work with adolescents and adults who are dealing with addiction related issues. He also works with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, grief/loss, and troubled relationships/marriages.
