Kristi L. Musick, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who received her doctoral
degree in clinical psychology from Kent State University. Her clinical experiences include work with children, adolescents,
adults, and families in diverse settings, using a variety of therapeutic approaches. Administering psychological assessments,
parent training and providing consultation in a variety of settings are additional areas of experience for Dr. Musick. Her
professional memberships include the American Psychological Association, APA Section on Child Clinical Psychology, and the
Society for Pediatric Psychology. She completed an APA accredited internship at the University of Louisville Medical School
in Child Clinical/Pediatric psychology.
She has worked in various setting including inpatient, residential, partial
hospitalization, community mental health, and in-home services. She has years of experience providing consultation to schools,
hospitals and physicians, day cares, group home, shelters, and residential treatment centers.
Dr. Musick has extensive training experience regarding early childhood and
mental health topics, including aggression, promoting positive social development, child development, positive discipline,
fears, divorce, sibling rivalry, conflict resolution and anger management, child abuse and neglect, and ADHD.

Dr. Musick is also experienced in providing many types of interventions,
including play therapy, infant-parent psychotherapy, family therapy, individual therapy, and group therapy. She specializes
in working with young children (infants, toddlers, and preschoolers) and their families to address a variety of issues, such
as
- Temper tantrums
- Behavior problems
- Feeding and sleeping problems
- Trauma related problems
- Divorce and loss issues
Working with children with chronic illnesses and their families is also an
area of interest for Dr. Musick.
